If it makes you feel better, any other R candidate will lose by an even bigger margin. Trump’s 2020 vote was the high-water mark for an R candidate.
A valid point lost on so many here on FR and elsewhere.
Trump will be the nominee. This farce does not change that and likely helps him for the primary.... warts and all (and he has them like we all do).

Time to say it again; Trump will with the nomination and lose the election. Again. In 2028, given he is still breathing, he will run as an Independent. He will have destroyed the American political order, and for that we should celebrate, dance and sing!

The WH will eventually become irrelevant. The new capital will be Jefferson City, Missouri.
The p**n star denies that Trump paid her. Not that he slept with her. So that will have to litigated, too.
Dems want trump to be the nominee. They say it every day. They know even a sleepwalking biden can beat trump in 2024. And the trumpies are all too happy to serve him up on a silver platter.
So why is DeSantis obligated to do anything for Trump, especially after the way Trump has been trashing and even filing an ethics complaint against him?
Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out. What were the specific charge(s) he was indicted on?

Based on the Constitution, he has room to make a credible case. But I agree, he won’t lift a finger...for obvious reasons.
The charges are a misdemeanor in the State of New York, and have already passed the statue of limitation per NY State law.
This is clearly election interference.
So, considering the timing, and how long they have had this in the works, I wonder what negative information on the Deep State was about to come out so that they could try to bury the headlines with a Trump indictment?
Was something about to come out about Biden? The other Biden? The other other Biden? Obama? Wray?
This has to be cover for something...
