If it was you or I, the Court would not allow a shield of our financial information from public view. There have been many Court decisions on the issue stating that public embarrassment or scrutiny is not a reason to seal otherwise public information.
And, as we know from their past actions, if it was a republican, the information would be leaked to the NYTimes anyway.
