President Joe Biden will travel to the United Kingdom and Ireland this month, marking the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday accord, the White House said on Wednesday.
The US-brokered Good Friday Agreement helped end sectarian violence in Ireland.
Biden will first travel to Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK, from April 11-12 “to mark the tremendous progress since the signing of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement 25 years ago” and to underscore US readiness to support Northern Ireland’s economic potential, the White House said. Biden then will travel to the Republic of Ireland from April 12-14.
Signed in 1998, the Good Friday Agreement helped end sectarian violence that had raged for three decades over the issue of Northern Ireland unifying with Ireland or remaining part of the UK.
But it has come under increasing stress following the UK’s exit from the European Union.

But he won’t to go to Palestine or Nashville.
I’m sure this is to goad President Trump. Bet we’ll see the golf course in the background.
Biden is only as catholic as Pelosi. And the pope.
here is the 2023-2024 Dim playbook.
Keep the media and the masses attention on Trump’s challenges in the courts, leaving little time 24/7 for the media to discuss the crises in Biden’s agenda. Biden will not even have to campaign. The media will keep the anti-Trump campaign going 24/7 without Biden doing anything.

Good Friday? I certainly hope he doesn’t inject the American belief in DEI into the Christian world’s knowledge of Dei.

but not to the Crowning, or is it Clowning...
I wonder if the Irish “love” him as much as the American people.
Hopefully he gets planted there.
I can see the photo op now - FJB drinking a Guinness in a pub...bet its a half pint...what a tool.
As he said, he’s not really Irish since he’s not a drunk. 😵
Yes, come Friday I expect Dementia Joe to dust off two of his lamest, most tired bits...
(1) “I’m the only Irishman who doesn’t drink”; and
(2) “I’m the guy who accompanied Jill Biden to... [Ireland]”
,now marches to Berlin’s tune and,
It is my recollection Ireland was neutral in WW2 and maintained diplomatic relations with Germany (and Japan).
Everybody knows this is the best British movie ever made!

Yeah. What’s with that? Is he not going to the coronation?
Yup. You’re right. They were neutral during ww2.
So what exactly happened? Do the Good Friday accords pay the IRA to not attack the UK? (Sort of like the Camp David Accords paid Egypt to not attack Israel?)
Did the Irish figure out that the Muslims were their bigger enemy?
