;).....We used to have to open the windows when it was above 20 degrees outside because the coal burned so hot. Once the brick and stone hearth was hot the house took two days to cool down below 60 degrees F. We ran ceiling fans to circulate the heat to all areas like bedrooms and bathrooms.

The most efficient home heating I've ever experienced.

This summer we can talk about kerosene refrigerators. One gallon of kerosene runs the refrigerator for six months. Absolutely astonishing.
