We learn much from our parents, but it’s only a very small part of their total knowledge. Imagine if it was 100% like AI can transfer. Knowledge that never dies, never forgets, no parents, no grandparents, just eternal growth. I think reassessing that situation is a good idea.

Yeah, that’s one thing for sure about AI. It won’t ever get dumber or forget anything really. It doesn’t have to spend decades relearning. So it’s going to have forever memory and always improve in every way.

It reminds me of when people said Digital movies would never match film in the early 2000s and not realize that you’re comparing something that improves quickly vs something that has no more room to go.
