Former President Donald Trump took the lead over President Joe Biden in a hypothetical general election match-up on the heels of his indictment this week, according to a poll.
The YouGov poll, conducted for the Economist from Saturday through Trump’s arrest on Tuesday, shows 44 percent of registered voters would back the 45th president in a rematch of the 2020 election.
He sits two points ahead of Biden, who registers at 42 percent. Fourteen percent of respondents are undecided.

Trump enjoys a net-four-point swing his way compared to another YouGov poll taken for Yahoo! News on March 30 – which saw Trump’s indictment in the evening – and the following day. That poll showed Biden leading Trump by a margin of 45 percent to 43 percent among registered voters.
If 42% would still vote for the demented meat puppet, we are soooo screwed.
They would vote for a dead cat as long as it was a Democrat dead cat.....................
Did this poll ask who will get the highest number of votes or who will get the highest final vote count?
About 40% of voters would vote for Satan himself if he ran as a Rat.

All polling now should consist of one question: How many days will it take to “find” the number of votes necessary to put the dem ahead?
Who believes the Ds are stupid enough to renominate the obviously senile, 76 yo Biden? I doubt even Jill wants that.
For all the defeatists that say we have no chance to win another election ever again, this wasn’t happening in 2016 and 2020. Pollster Jim McLaughlin: No matter what the Democrats (and the DeSimps) might tell you, that’s why they’re going after President Trump—because he’s beating Joe Biden.
And this time around they won't be able to keep demented Joe in the basement and away from actually answering press questions. Which is why I do not believe Biden will run. He'll announce in the early Fall leaving the other Dems plenty of time to gear up.
Sure that’s bad enough but when you have 16% who are undecided that is even worse in a way. How the hell can you be undecided with a dementia-addled occupant running this country into the ground? That suggests that a lot of idiots would vote for Brandon at the last minute thinking Trump is too mean to run this country.
They could dig up Jimmy Carter and he’d have a chance to get past Joe Biden in Hypothetical 2024 Match-Up.
