That’s just it. All of these machinations by the political establishment to damage Trump, the false prosecutions, the media’s lies, the manipulations within the republican party delegate process, makes this primary anything but fair. DeSantis is participating in a wholly unfair process and looking to benefit from it. It reminds me of the final scenes of The Gladiator when The Emperor stabs Maximus in the kidney before their big fight.

The purpose of Operation Chaos wasn’t to pick a nominee. It was to keep Hillary in the race to bloody up Obama since McCain said he would not attack Obama.
It is a given Trump is running away with it just like Obama was. So if there was going to be an Operation Chaos this time around, it would be Democrats supporting DeSantis because they want to blood up Trump. Because Pence and Haley aren’t going to want to or be able to. And, lo and behold, itâs sort of happening now with the GOPe and the Democrat party-media egging on DeSantis.
And as far as Democrats wanting Trump to be the nominee, this makes ZERO sense. If the Democrats want Trump to be the nominee they wouldn’t be trying so hard to stop him.
I have news for the Desantis cheer squad. Desantis would draw the meca of Democrat youth voters out because he is the easiest to attack on culture war issues. Democrats would love nothing more than for Ron to take down Trump and take attention away from the economy, foreign policy and the border. Ron needs to finish his term and try to say something other than woke 6 times in 15 seconds if he ever wants to be President. No other candidate hands them a culture war narrative like Desantis.
