His politics were all over the place over many decades.
His followers were fanatics and showed up everywhere and made quite a racket.
But—I give the guy credit—he hated the English Royal Family as much as I do.

Chiming in here... It's a group that follows this guy who is now deceased.
Back in college, about 30 years ago, a LaRouche table was set up on campus, and a guy there sounded like a conspiracy theorist. But, I had to write news reports for a class, and I thought, Well, here's my next story. So, I took some pamphlets, and the group invited me to a meeting at a local hotel. They claimed they had to meet in secret, so the conference room was booked under a different group name. Luckily, someone else talked me out of going, so I never went to the meeting. But, the group sent me mailings for a year, until finally someone called and I said, No thanks.
Based on my observations, especially in the way they spoke to people, let's just say, I don't know for sure whether this group can be defined as a cult, but they sure do recruit like one.

The refusal to discuss LaRouche’s policies on Free Republic, being that any posts featuring his articles are banned here, is a sign of the chronic self-blinding that has put the Republican Party’s back against the wall and allowing the radical Dems and their homosexual flying wedge unlimited access to the press and the American psyche. Has anyone noticed that the Dem steamroller exists because we dropped the ball, left our brains in the Cold War, forgot our actual republican roots. LaRouche’s organization has been a constant and steadfast supporter of Trump since he stepped into politics. Stupid does not win wars.
Jim - Maybe it’s time to let articles from the LaRouche organization allowed here on “FREE” Republic. I realize that speaking about LaRouche will bring on the heat, serious heat. But then, the next question is why is that so? If the deep state Nazis consider him and his economic programs that dangerous, do we cave or do we help? Anyone who has read his economic program will learn in short order that his reputation as a “kook” is in error. We can’t afford error.

Icke has published dozens of books and lots of stuff in them are totally crazy.
That said his analysis of how the ruling class operates is as good as I have seen anywhere.
Icke is a human Rorschach Test. What someone sees tells us more about them than the actual picture.
