Ukraine has been urged to give up Crimea by the Brazilian President.
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva suggested on Thursday that Ukraine cede the Black Sea peninsula to Russia to end the war, adding his Ukrainian counterpart "cannot want everything".

Though vague, Brazil's Lula has put forward a proposal to mediate the conflict with a group of countries. He is due to present his proposal to Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing next week.
In March, China also presented its own peace plan, which was flatly rejected by Ukraine and the West.
Lula's international affairs adviser Celso Amorim met Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow at the end of March. Russia's president is expected in Brazil on April 17.

it's just a bloody violent war for Ukraines soldiers who can only at best keep fighting a loosing battle
but are encouraged to try to exhaust the Russian Military.....which won't happen.
Peace would be attained a lot easier if, Russia gave up Crimea to Ukraine, and got the heck out of Ukraine completely.

America threw nothing away. A leftist political party and its acolytes and water-carriers are responsible for the decline of the United States because they hijacked the government and its institutions and forced their vileness on the country. The country threw nothing away.
Russia isn't going to give up Crimea. And why should they? It has belonged to them since the 1700s. Kruschev "gifting" it to Ukraine while the Soviets controlled the whole place means nothing.
It is not part of Ukraine. Not now. Not ever.
And would Russia agree to give up the rest of occupied Ukraine in return?
Prigozhin/ Wagner was saying earlier this week negotiations on Crimea would result in joint Ukrainian and Russian administration. Turkish troops would serve as peacekeepers on the territory.
