A triple murder plea-bargained to one count of manslaughter? And she’s upset the judge told her to pound sand? It’s too bad hanging the SOB with three ropes isn’t an option.

The point of a plea deal is the defendant pleads guilty to a lesser charge to avoid the chance of being found guilty of all charges.

The prosecution offers a plea deal to avoid the chance of the jury returning “not guilty” on all charges and him walking.

What the judge did was negate any incentive for future defendants to take a plea deal. If you get the max anyway you might as well go to trial
