Work on overhauling T-64 tanks has started at the Polish arms plant Bumar-Labędy as part of the agreement between the Polish arms concern Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and Ukroboronprom [Ukraine’s Defence Industry – ed.].
Cooperation in the maintenance of T-72 and PT-91 tanks, which were transferred to Ukraine by Poland, is also planned in the long term. The possibility of joint work on the maintenance of Leopard 2 tanks, which were transferred to Ukraine by the international coalition, is also being considered.

T64s with upgrades are still good weapons platforms. Kind of like our old M60a4 TTS tanks. Obsolete? Against us? Yes. Slavs against Slavs......what the heck. Slavs are gonna Slav. Stay out of their way.
They’re actually very good tanks for the WWI-style conditions they’re being used in. Takes a direct hit by artillery or ATGM to knock them out.
Why ? They have been the bulk of UA tank force and proved to be quite good.
Additionally, T-64 were high-end, not for export models, unlike several years younger T-72s which are the bulk of your rus nazi tanks.
The only reason why the rus nazis decided to focous on the T-72 platform was that a factory producing T-64/T-80 was in Ukraine.

The tank repair facilities in Ukraine are busy perfoming maintenance on the hundreds of captured Russian tanks that are more modern than the T 62’s
Cptured is a generalized misnomer because the modern Russian tanks were simply abandoned.
Ukraine isn’t the world’s second most powerful army, they have to be creative and resourceful as they are being invaded by the world’s 2nd most powerful army.
Well, it's not even that they were designed at the end of WW2. T-62 is actually the last element of the T-54/T-55 series.
T-64 is a part of T-64/T-80 family.

On paper the Russian military is still vastly superior to that of Ukraine.
Pre-war most people, myself included, thought that the much better tanks of the Russians would lead to a rapid Russian victory.
What we missed is that tech isn’t everything:
* Russia didn’t have the resources to make sure their assets were a state of good repair
* endemic corruption prevent units from being properly supplied
* the leadership in place due to loyalty instead of ability
Those factors are the only thing that has allowed Ukraine with its T-64s to win against T-90s.

What you are saying doesn’t make any sense. You don’t like the idea of the American military fighting the Russians, but when a European country is willing to do it and is getting ready, you don’t like it either. Who should fight the Russians if they attack?
