Rick Johnson, 70, and former head of Michigan's medical marijuana licensing board and former state House speaker admitted to taking more than $110,000 in bribes to help businesses get medical marijuana licenses.

Republicans have met the enemy and they are themselves (apologies to Walt Kelly)
Their legislature seats are safe in the red counties, so they don't have a problem with Shinyface's Blue Guard [America's Red Guard] running everything in the state.
They can make a pretense of "fighting" for their constituents, then meet up for cocktails with their Dem Masters in various Lansing waterholes.
No self-respecting Conservative would ever serve on a board for licensing marijuana, medical or otherwise. The whole industry is riddled with corruption and anyone who gets within 5 feet of it is asking for trouble. Johnson is a fool who will get what he deserves.
