The spokesperson also did not elaborate on what safety concerns led the company to close the Trinity Place market.

The company could not keep employees safe to/from and at work.

The store space can now be used as a drug den for the homeless and illegals.

They should be sued for creating a food desert.

Why close the store?

I thought midnight basketball was the solution to this kind of thing.

“To ensure the safety of our Team Members, we have made the difficult decision to close the Trinity store for the time being,” a Whole Foods Market spokesperson said in a statement via email.

Not surprising. I'd rather walk through many dangerous parts of the world before taking a stroll down Market Street.

This will make it harder for residents to steal healthy food.

That’s almost as fast as Target opening and closing its doors in Canada.

At least they will now have an arena to play in.

Embrace the suck.

It’s called anarcho-tyranny. Create a crisis so the populace begs for the government to do something.

Eventually....governments will seize the businesses preventing them from moving...and forcing provisions.

Like a “Public Private Partnership” .

They can turn the empty store building into a vacant place for homeless (sorry “houseless”) people with belongings in shopping carts. People can step around used hypodermic syringes , some with AIDS blood. Others can fight over handout food they see someone brought in while they nodded off.

At least it won’t be “Whole Paycheck” any longer.

No surprise. I was in this Whole Foods a month or so ago. Had to use the restroom. Multiple homeless were in there bathing with the sinks. I imagine that the powers that be at WF/Amazon decided just not worth it.

Oh but it’s not Gavin’s fault. He’s campaigning against fascist MAGA tyranny in Texas, Tennessee and Florida. He’s pro-freedom (except for school lockdowns, vaccine mandates, natural gas appliances, diesel truck regulations, banning of internal combustion engines, zoning for home construction, how high ports can stack containers, etc).

But he’s all in for transing 8-year olds. Freedom!

And he’s so pretty!

What genius thought it was a good idea to put a high-end grocery store at 8th and Market?
