Well, at first thought, as long at the force of gravity is the same as the rest of the earth, the sea level would be the same. If it’d not, things would not weigh the same. Pretty easy to measure...
Aside from that, that would imply the earth was sinking in those area. This isn’t science.

I mean the fact these areas have gotten hot with massive hurricanes might coastal erosion. Which is exactly what the sea level rising in a particular area usually means
