Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov may not be able to attend when the UN Security Council meets in the United States later in April. He has not yet been granted a visa to enter the United States writes Svenska Dagbladet with reference to the Russian news agency Tass.
"No visa has been issued yet. Not a single visa has been issued," Lavrov told the news agency.
The Security Council has a rotating presidency, and Russia currently holds the presidency and Lavrov is the chairman.

No, he is not. European leaders like the German President Steinmayer (not the Bundeskanzler) have called for indictment against Lavrov, but the Haag court only issued arrest warrants for Putin and Russian official Lvova-Belova.

I have long hoped for the UN being cut down to size.

Agreed, Biden an his administration should read about diplomacy. It wouldn’t help him as he can’t stop sniffing little girls hair. That would go over well.
It is a violation of the international law, also called the abuse of the status of the host nation.
Chopper in from a ship in international waters directly to UN HQ and claim it is international territory, which it may be. Interesting if he tried and tested that. The stupid people in charge wouldn’t know what to do, as with the Chinese balloon. He could be in and out of there by the time they made a decision.
Clearly the US cannot be trusted to host the UN.
I therefore suggest the UN headquarters be moved out of the US and away from those wicked Americans.
Considering that Labrov is basically a ROCK STAR in Africa and much of the rest of the world, I don’t expect this to end well for Biden...but then I suspect our definition of ‘ending well’ is different from Biden’s definition.
But at this point, our hormone-driven Administration is simply unable to control itself.
