The President can declassify anything at any time. The leaks of these “Special Prosecutor” witch hunts are so ridiculous but their desired impact is to keep the narrative going. Merrick Garland is an enemy of the USA.

Regardless of the “legality” of said actions, this is, once again, all about charging President Trump with more absurdly attributed “crimes”. Whether or not he’s “guilty” is beside the point, and that much is obvious.

It was an old map with some Spanish words on it. On the back were piano notes. The map is accompanied by a doubloon and is said to be the map to One-Eyed-Willy’s rich stuff.

One of those weeks, I was assigned with a young Sov Parachute Reconnaissance officer, Ivan K. We had a map on the wall of Europe and during his idle hours while I was on patrol, he wrote the locations and names of all of the US nuclear storage sites in Germany on it. Being a Marine, I had no idea if he was right or not - just figured that he was showing off.
A few weeks later, we had a new member, a US Army major come with me on a training session to that same outpost and when he saw that map he went ballistic! He yelled that the "map was classified Top Secret" and tore it off the wall and demanded to know where it came from and who saw it.
I slowly and carefully told him that the Soviets had written that data on the map and that "it might not be Top Secret anymore".
This is all so preposterous. No one would ever prosecute an ex president for this, except the pos marxists running our government.

Also, I recall clearly about 4 years ago when he also showed off some
KJU letters in the Oval, but thought better of it, and snatched them back and then threatened some jackass lib Time Magazine reporter with jail (Sarah Sanders was in the room, too, and joined in with the threat) with imprisonment if he did not delete the docs from his cell - so right there you have unauthorized disclosure to third parties. I am not sure, but that correspondence could well have been TS/SCI at the moment.
He also stated on Hannity he had the right to take whatever he would want and Hannity tried to get off that one realll quick, it was hilarious as the hole was being dug even further. As I said, his attorneys cannot muzzle him for his own good, it is not going to shake out good for him due to somebody’s big mouth.
Smith should be immediately imprisoned for the leaks from his investigation.
