A lynch mob is an example of democracy in action except for the fact that the guy getting lynched doesn’t get to vote.
Republics are always better than democracies. Democracies always turn into mob rule, chaos, and clique fascism.
Unfortunately, many times republics are dictatorships too. Depends on the construct of the Constitution of said republic.

The real democracy is OK.

Proletariat = from Latin proles = children.

Kind of the welfare recipients and the homeless today.
Instead of improving the lives of the poorest, the dictature of the proletariat makes proletariat from everybody!
They very often use the phrase “OUR Democracy.” I think they think it’s THEIRS exclusively as the One True Custodians — and to do with as they please, adjusting it to fit momentary needs.
Most Liberals see the highest moral good as coming from their own internal sensibilities. Morally relativistic.
Most Conservatives see Right & Wrong as external absolutes. The Law, God, etc.
I don’t know how to fix that. It’s too basic.
