An extraordinary legal filing revealed two of the hijackers responsible for the September 11 terror attacks had a much more intimate relationship with the Central Intelligence Agency than previously known.
At least two of the 9/11 hijackers were being closely monitored by the CIA and may have even been recruited by the agency well before they helped fly a pair of Boeing 767s into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, newly-released documents reveal.
The jaw-dropping court filing contains extensive testimony by multiple FBI investigators who maintain that the CIA obstructed official investigations into the notorious terrorist attack in order to conceal its connections to al-Qaeda*.

I think the hubris of the VA frat boys played a large part in enabling the attacks in 9/11, but in D.C. incompetence usually gets rewarded.
Some of us knew as it was happening. It was the first thing that hit me as I was watching the second tower get hit.

Hanjour lived about 3 miles from me at the time. When he was pulled over for the ticket, he was here on an expired student visa, nobody cared....just like now!

I think we have all known that the CIA had a hand in that travesty for some time. Although, during the period immediately following 9/11, many posters here were banned from this site for suggesting that it was a possibility or even questioning some of the anomalies of the happenings on that date. That’s when we lost so many contributing intelligent voices at FR, and the fund-raisers went from lasting a week to lasting three months before reaching the goal.
Since the government says that non-violent conservatives are actually terrorists, maybe the CIA will start sending us checks?
...... I remember in the week or even weeks before the event there were news articles popping up about a possible terror attack involving some means of transportation. I was expecting a train or a bus ... But, for some reason, I never even thought of or considered airbound transportation. AAAAAnd .... Of course after the fact I went to find those articles and they were all gone .... Guess I just have a vivid immagination ....

That explains the blacked out parts of the 9/11 report. They flagged those two guys, and established contact via Saudi intel. They were thinking they had turned them into human sources. CIA got scammed and they were double agents.

Somebody with more influence than the weight of the DOD and civilian agencies obstructed the investigation from the outset. Furthermore, producing the faces/names of the hijackers in the short time following 9/11 without intimate knowledge of the players was impossible.
Many of us here are only surprised that this guy came forward.
The obvious questions are "Why?" and "How long until his 'suicide'?"
