The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit reversed the dismissal of a lawsuit made by Loudoun County, Virginia, parents against their public school system over a bias reporting system, which they argue could chill their children's freedom of speech.
The appeals court overturned a lower court decision to dismiss the lawsuit Friday, saying that the case against Loudoun County Public Schools’ based on student’s First Amendment rights could continue in federal court.
“Schools are supposed to educate children,” Jacob Huebert, president of the Liberty Justice Center, which represents the parents in the case, said in a statement on Monday. “Instead, schools in Loudoun County and too many other places are focused on indoctrination and discrimination.”
“Students should be able to speak their minds and share their opinions without fear of retaliation from school officials,” Huebert said.

How’s that lawsuit coming between the county and father of the raped child?
Will the judge that dismissed the case be in charge or will they choose a judge that has no bias (or at least has not displayed a bias)?

It’s been about 18 months since he filed suit and I’ve heard no more about it. Eighteen months!! Justice is too slow in our nation. There is no need for the process to move at such a snail’s pace.
That’s why the left can get away with so much in violating citizen’s rights. For instance the second SCOTUS overturns an obvious unconstitutional law against the 2nd Amendment, blue states will simply pass the same law with one or two minor changes, and then it takes three or four years for the case to make it back to the upper Court.
Meanwhile, citizens rights are violated again and again. Politicians need to be held personally liable for their continued and deliberate violations of citizens’ Constitutional rights.
What a convoluted system.
This is not what the Founding Fathers envisioned.
You’re correct. And when it’s overturned, they just shrug their shoulders, and move on with the next violation. And if there’s a fine? Who cares? It’s not their money…
Or that girl in the Las Vegas beating.
I tried to search out where the case is and there has been nothing updated since it first broke.
