I established a fake physical address 20 years ago. It’s an empty lot with a mailbox. Cost me $2K at the time and about $50 in taxes each year.

I generally send things to a POBox, but if they have to have a physical address, that’s the one.

One of the smartest things I’ve ever done to help insulate myself.
