Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) joined a crop of Tennessee Republicans endorsing former President Donald Trump's 2024 bid.

Echoing her Senate counterpart, Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN), who backed Trump over the weekend, Blackburn lauded Trump's achievements on the economy and border on Monday, framing his election to a second term as the solution to stubbornly high inflation and the influx of illegal immigrants into the United States. She is the ninth senator to back Trump.

HAGERTY BECOMES EIGHTH GOP SENATOR TO ENDORSE TRUMP IN 2024 PRIMARY

"Under President Trump, our economy was booming, gas prices were low, and inflation was under control. Our border was secure, our adversaries feared us, & our military was strong. I am proud to endorse Donald Trump for President and can't wait until he's back in the White House," Blackburn tweeted.

Over the weekend, two House lawmakers from Tennessee, Reps. John Rose (R) and Diana Harshbarger (R), also endorsed Trump.

An entourage of Republicans converged on Nashville, Tennessee, over the weekend for a Republican National Committee donor retreat. The event featured several 2024 hopefuls, such as former Vice President Mike Pence.

So far, over four dozen members of Congress have endorsed Trump, vastly surpassing endorsements from the Hill that his top GOP rivals have racked up.

Other senators backing Trump are Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), J.D. Vance (R-OH), and Ted Budd (R-NC), who endorsed Trump on Friday.

Hagerty reportedly dined with Trump on Friday during the retreat. His praise of Trump mirrored Blackburn's.

"It is my honor to give my whole-hearted endorsement to Donald J. Trump to be the next President of the United States," Hagerty tweeted. "I was honored to previously serve in his Administration."

Blackburn and Hagerty need to go away. They had their chance to help Trump and blew it. E.TN is Trump country. We won’t forget how they backstabbed him when he needed them.

For a growing list of reasons it looks like Trump has a lock for the nomination. It will take a miracle for him to win the general. The MSM, DNC and the GOPe is a hell of a lot to overcome. He did it once because they all thought he didn’t have a chance. That is over. The GOP is run by an idiot who has not once said any election was stolen in the last 6 years. I wish l could be more optimistic

We know where the fraud can significantly effect the outcomes ad the state governors or legislators there need to firm up election integrity. In the Blue states we need to get an army of specialists there to observe for the months they vote.

Next, the GOP needs better messaging and needs to begin the campaign with all elected officials participating.

Please explain what you are talking about. How did they backstab Trump and why do you reject their endorsement of him now?

I mean, I’m glad they endorsed him as long as he learned not to trust them the way we did. They are playing to President Trumps base in TN because they know that if they don’t, they don’t have a prayer of winning reelection.
