I hope our mid-west Freepers are safe! It has been a rough tornado season this year.

There’s a video on Twitter from Reed Timmer last night having what I consider to be a very scary encounter with a multi vortex tornado...

A clear sign of CLIMATE CHANGE!

Or, as we called it 50 years ago in the Midwest, Spring.

I would treat them like my children, say here is your spending limit and here is a spending plan in order to stay within those limits. Now you don’t have to abide by the spending plan but if you don’t come up with a similar spending plan you will exceed the limits and end up cutting yourself off and then you have to starve until you get more money in the future for spending. I understand that they can’t pass a budget or dedicate specific money and increasing the debt limit but what they can do is increase it just enough to allow them to stay within a spending plan which you can provide them.

I have lived in the mid west in my current home for 31 years and have had my roof replaced 5 times because of hail damage. Home owners insurance has paid every time except for $500 deductible each time.

The last time, a couple of years ago, it beat the crap out of my car too, $14,000 damage, car insurance paid for that, no deductible. Home owners insurance $700 per year.
