Did it blow up!?
Yes. It did clear the launch pad, but the Starship didn’t separate from the booster when it was supposed to, and something blew up. There were fragments falling and a multi-lobed cloud of smoke. I hope they got a great deal of good telemetry data back from it, and and figure out and fix whatever went wrong. I doubt it was really a $3 billion loss, though, as I’ve seen reported.
