A Democratic delegate to Congress appears to have threatened “Twitter Files” journalist Matt Taibbi with up to five years in prison for purportedly lying under oath when he testified before Congress last month.
Stacey Plaskett (D-USVI) made the threat in an April 13 letter to Taibbi, accusing the Racket News journalist of contradicting his congressional testimony about Twitter in a subsequent interview with MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, according to a copy of the letter obtained by The Intercept reporter Lee Fang.
Hasan invited Taibbi onto his show after his March 9 testimony before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government — of which Plaskett is the ranking member — about his reporting on Twitter’s collusion with the federal government to silence dissent online.

Apparently the federal government will not “silence dissent online,” they will simply do it themselves from DC.

The Democrat concluded her letter by reminding Taibbi that he had signed a form prior to the hearing affirming “under penalty of perjury” that his testimony was true “to the best of your knowledge, information, and belief.”
She isn’t in control of enough brain cells to prove any different. How could a perjury charge be leveled if he believes his testimony ?

Therefore she has NO... NO vote in Congress whatsoever as regards legislation and only minimally in her “fronting” fake a@@ big mouth in this “ranking member” of a committee.
She has NO legal powers within Congress. Only advisory. This is a complete sham.
Her job is to raise her nasty a@@ voice in “disgust and dismay...” but can do NOTHING about it beyond that. Get the cameras to pan at her. That’s it.

Don’t forget as a still non-voting “member” this ironed hair (Black Blaisey Ford look and speaking voice, btw)— was co- chair of the second “impeachment” AFTER Pres. Trump had left office. The other chair was the now dead, thankfully, Alcee Hastings of FL.
A good friend put the case against Alcee Hastings as a federal judge who took massive bribes in drug cases and many more (the dude had gold plated plumbing in his multi million dollar condo/home in Miami!). Hastings was impeached and convicted by the US Senate, and removed from the Federal Judge Bench. This did not stop him continuing his corruption by getting re-elected several times to Congress. A true crook- and he Chaired the impeachement. Unreal.
Brennan Clapper Comey ??? Sounds like a precedent they wont want to set….
