At this stage, the DeSantis is the equivalent of “Not Trump”. The left will treat him like Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas and Jimmy Swaggart rolled into one. I am not sure he would know how to deal with it. Better than Romney, maybe, but that’s not enough.
I agree that he will not know what hit him when they give him the “Trump” treatment and it will be ugly.
