I have not turned on a TV for years. My wife had to have the noise and watched little news content. She died in 2018, we were married 47 years. First thing I changed? I removed the 4 satellite TV units from the house and I rely totally on my hand picked web based news.
I married again 3 years ago. My wife now, does not watch TV at all. She watches stuff on her cell phone often. We talk about the news daily. But life is more sane without TV.
