Generally, the liberals and leftists set themselves up, as arbiters of what is acceptable. Then they shut down debate and discussion of anything which offends their sensibilities.

The transgender issues here are a good example of what they do. They find it so outrageous that anyone would have any discussion or disagreement, so they declare the entire subject to be off limits for discussion. Then the default position becomes that everyone is all in with transgender surgeries and all the rest of it
