Colorado has just fought off a gun ban scheme in that state. Get ready for a mass killing in the next few months in which the shelved gun ban bill will be pulled out and passed before opposition can be mounted against it.
It worked in California in 1989 with the release of Pat Purdy from a mental institution, allowed to buy guns, shot up the Stockton School yard killing several students and himself. The gun ban bill was pulled out and passed so fast no one had a chance to mount opposition to it.
