Notice they blur the faces of both because as yet, they have no proof that a crime occurred.
Could be a family member retrieving the black sheep, or some trust fund baby being hauled back to rehab.
You will be amazed & shocked how many murders, rapes etc occured before internet became popular. We just hear about every case now.

Could have been worse, for example, it could have been a Chrysler.
The police are at a total loss, and want to locate the “victim”. Therefore they released grainy photos with her face and 1/3 of her body blocked out. You never know, but if forced to bet, I’d go with drunk/stoned girlfriend/wife being collected and taken home.

These abductions are for the purpose of turning girls into sex slaves.
