I will speculate that 100% of the defense lawyers in this case voted for Joe Biden and are reliable donors to the Democratic Party.

Politically, they have no clue how to defend Conservatives against a Democrat judge, a Democrat prosecutor, and a Democrat jury.

So, all of the defense lawyers reach for the only political narrative they have ever known - "Trump is evil. Therefore, my client is completely innocent."

Jury Response - "Guilty, on all charges."

The only good news - some of the Proud Boys have public defenders, so they did not have to actually pay for this pathetic defense.

I don’t think it’s 100%, but it’s close, according to MTG. Often, their lawyers are harder on them than the judges, verbally abusing and browbeating them — telling them they’re guilty.

Why our pols aren’t raising hell about these POWs 24/7 is a mystery. Only four or five of them seem to care.
