The Human Rights Campaign is calling on Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Bud Light, to publicly reaffirm its support for the transgender community following weeks of right-wing pushback over the brewing company’s recent partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
In a letter sent this week to Anheuser-Busch’s head of human resources, Jay Brown, a senior vice president at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, slammed the company’s response to the controversy as insufficient and cowardly.
“In this moment, it is absolutely critical for Anheuser-Busch to stand in solidarity with Dylan and the trans community,” reads the April 26 letter obtained by The Hill.
“However, when faced with anti-LGBTQ+ and transphobic criticism, Anheuser-Busch’s actions demonstrate a profound lack of fortitude in upholding its values of diversity, equity, and inclusion to employees, customers, shareholders and the LGBTQ+ community.”

It all depends which side is perceived to be able of dishing out the most pain.
That’s the side they’ll go with.
Sadly, the left has shown to be much better at this than we are. That’s why 90+% of corporation are woke.
We have the numbers and the power to go scorched earth on these corporations but we don’t.
Bud is treading water and waiting it out while their revenues implode until the issue is overtaken by other news events. If they survive, this serves as a message to them and the entire corporate world that mindless virtue signaling can be hazardous to pedaling your product. I still have not bought Coke since their 2020 BLM virtue signaling debacle

Fire all who had their hands in this fiasco. Then publish a sincere apology to the consumers. And then just shut up. Stay quiet for a very long time. Perhaps come back in the distant future with a new brand to replace this one. I honestly don’t think there is any saving Bud light. Oh and hopefully they will have learned a very costly lesson....don’t hire any more woke individuals! lol

They’ll reaffirm their support of the trans community and the boycott will lose steam. Sadly, this is a blip on the marketing chart. In the long run they’ll be fine. People have short memories. Hell, I’m still boycotting Ruger.
It’s my opinion that even the FR boycotts of Fox, NFL, NBA mostly faded. Remember the “Never Forget” movement? Quickly and mostly forgotten.

Hey, Human Rights Campaign - I am so happy that you are standing firm in support for the trans community. Afterall, we all must be nice to trans men competing in women’s sports. Right? It is entirely appropriate to favor the trans men over the women who are not actually humans. /s
I hope that they keep stepping in it, l have been shorting BUD stock and am making a fortune! It’s a lose - lose for bud and a win - win for traders.
Where is all this “trans” pressure coming from? It would seem that there is a very, very small number of transgender people. If you bow down to pressure from such a small group, they gain more power. Time to tell them to shove it.
I don’t drink Budweiser or any of their products but I do find this situation extremely funny.
I have to ask Budweiser if they are more concerned about the FAGS & FREAKS or their bottom line.
BUDWEISER: Are you going to cave and cater to 0.0000001 percent of the worlds population (if that much) who just happen to be active on children’s websites; twitter, facebook, tic toc, etcetera, or are you going to pay attention to the other 99,0000009 percent of the world who are really your customers?
