Nobody in their right mind wants the kind of “freedoms” that US culture is currently pimping. The rest of the world has much more freedom than your arrogant @zz thinks...including the Russians.
You still haven’t named a vital national security interest. Russia is more to blame than Ukraine but 31 trillion of debt does not give one a license to play in every morality play in the world especially when the badder guy of the two was triggered by the very real potential of having a former province hostile to it having US troops and weaponry hugging its Western border. Last time I looked we did the same as Russia in that scenario embargoing Cuba and stopping Soviet ships with the very real threat of nuclear war. China, on the other hand, is a real threat.
