O.K., so what exactly did you mean when you said:

That you have sympathy for Trump? You were clearly expressing a lack of sympathy for him, but want to quibble over the fact that you didn’t specifically use the word “lack”, so that you can change the subject. That’s an amateur debate tactic used by people who have no real response.
It’s interesting that you like to lecture other people about reading comprehension when you misinterpret the use of the term “blood sport” as implying entertainment.
Blood sport refers to any competition involving the shedding of blood. It’s use in describing politics is obviously not meant to be taken literally, but rather as an expression of the serious level of risk and consequence associated with the endeavor.
And politics is blood sport because the stakes are so high. It’s war by other means, which was the point entropy12 was making.
An intelligent response would address the point entropy12 was actually making, not your misinterpretation of what he said.
