Springsteen is/was a little guy. He played the Carrier Dome in Syracuse back in 1985. I worked there in events production in my junior/senior year. He and I pumped into each other walking through the tunnel to the locker room. Anyway he was about 5’ 7” and 140 pounds back then. I was 5’ 10” at the time. I have shrunk down to 5’ 9”.
I do have to admit. At the time he seemed like a regular guy. He came out and introduce himself to all of us dome workers. Shook our hands and thanked us for setting up. This was for the Born in the USA tour when he really first made it big.
