Unfortunately, I am in and out of hospitals and doctor offices all too frequently. The downfall of medicine in America has steadily accelerated since the implementation of ObamaCare which forced the total corporatization of healthcare. All of healthcare, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical device and supply companies are in bed with government. It is medical fascism. It sucks.
The pandemic caught them in a mismatch of business model vs. medical need. Really an important demonstration going forward in any sort of disaster. Don't count on your hospitals.
This article is spot on! My wife who is a retired nurse and I witnessed this firsthand. It was and is a travesty.
A virus did not close businesses.. government did.
