A former press secretary for Jill Biden who resigned following her humiliating “breakfast taco” speech poked his head up from obscurity last weekend to take a shot at top DeSantis aide Christina Pushaw–and it didn’t end well for him. Michael Larosa resigned from the First Lady’s staff in 2022, two weeks after apologizing on her behalf for a speech in which she said Latinos were as “unique” as “the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio.” On Sunday, he tried to defend his old bosses from a report that the Biden family had disowned the four-year-old daughter of Hunter Biden, who is currently trying to dodge child support obligations.
Writer and legal analyst Jonathan Turley published the report on his website.
“The viciousness of the Biden family in dealing with this little girl is only matched by that of the media,” Turley wrote. “Reporters who profess to support women and denounce deadbeat dads have either ignored this story or belittled her mother, Lunden Roberts.”
According to the report, Roberts is often dismissed by journalists as a “former stripper,” given how she first met Hunter Biden. Since becoming pregnant, she has had to raise their daughter alone and fight an army of Biden lawyers.
“The mother has shown great restraint and class considering the situation,” Pushaw wrote on Twitter. “To be honest though, as much as it’s not ideal to have a deadbeat father, it can be just as bad or worse to have a selfish and troubled father like Hunter involved in a kid’s life.”
The story of Lunden Roberts and her daughter Navy Joan is a tragic story of “deadbeat” fatherhood, as both Turley and Pushaw put it. Given the elder Biden’s campaigning against absent fatherhood, it is an outrageous story of hypocrisy.
Michael Larosa, however, was more outraged by Pushaw praising Roberts than he was about his former employers’ legal campaign against a four-year-old girl.
Larosa is the former press secretary for Jill Biden, who resigned in 2022. He left the role just two weeks after being forced to give a humiliating public apology for the First Lady’s “breakfast tacos” speech.
“Did someone say breakfast tacos,” Pushaw retorted, along with a .gif of someone preparing the Mexican dish.
Pushaw had opened an old wound, causing a distraught Larosa to threaten Team DeSantis with a lawsuit,

“Eaten any good tacos lately?” one commenter replied
“It’s almost Cinco De Mayo! Time for tacos!” said another.
Responding to Larosa, Pushaw shot back, “Go to therapy.”

Probably still unemployed and hoping by saying something outrageous one of the handful of people who forgot to drop him from their Twitter feed might offer him a job.
