“Russia Staged Putin ‘Assassination’ to Justify Mass Mobilization: ISW”

TOTALLY AGREE!
Greatly appreciate your Comment #15.

There would be little motivation for Ukraine to change there approach to the Russian invasion no!

Ukraine has continually honored the mutually agreed upon borders during this entire Russian invasion that were designated by ‘The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances’ comprised of political agreements signed at the OSCE conference in Budapest, Hungary, on 5 December 1994, which provided security assurances by its signatories relating to the accession of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).

These three memoranda of ‘The Budapest Memorandum’ were originally accepted and signed by three nuclear powers: the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States. China and France gave individual assurances in separate documents.

HOWEVER, IT IS NOW PAINFULLY OBVIOUS PUTIN DID NOT HONOR HIS COMMITMENTS WHEN HE INVADED UKRAINE IN 2014 AND REFUSES TO HONOR THE BUDAPEST ACCORD BY HIS INVASION THAT BEGAN IN 2022.

IMO, the claim for Putin/Kremlin attack is to:
win back support of the R.F. population;
end citizen sabotage of Russian military installations & munitions manufacturing;
as well as build support of conscriptions with Russian patriotism.
