President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasizes that Ukraine is fighting on its territory and is defending itself against the aggressor - Russia.
He pointed this out at a joint briefing with the leaders of Northern European countries in Helsinki, Censor.NET informs with reference to Pravda.
“We are not attacking Putin or Moscow, we are fighting on our territory, defending our villages and cities. We don’t have enough weapons even for that... That’s why we didn’t attack Putin, we will leave it to the (international) tribunal,” the head of state said.
Zelensky emphasized that Russia has no victories at the front, Putin can no longer motivate Russian society and send soldiers to war just like that, so he is interested in accusing Ukraine of some “crimes”.
“He needs to do something drastic: then ‘assassinations’, then drones, then some kind of ‘geese that bombed them’. They will invent one or another step every day. And everything is solved more simply: you don’t need to intimidate anyone, you don’t need to use weapons, you need to leave our territory,” the President of Ukraine hinted.
It will be recalled that on May 3, a video clip was distributed in which a pillar of smoke can be seen near the Kremlin, as if after an explosion. The Russian authorities said that at night Ukraine allegedly tried to “strike with drones” the Kremlin residence of Russian dictator Putin. In the official message of the Russians, it is said that the military and special services disabled two drones that attacked the Kremlin.
Later, a video was published showing footage of a fire in the Moscow Kremlin. And also the moment when the drone hit the main dome of the Kremlin.
Putin’s spokesman Dmytro Peskov said that the president of the Russian Federation was not injured and continues to work as usual.
Ukraine denies any involvement in the alleged drone attack in Moscow.
