A $226 million pay package for one year is criminal for any CEO of a public company, especially for a company whose stock price fell from $145 per share to $88 in that same year.
Ok Bernie... that's none of your business in a free market, that's up to the company's board.

Another Bernie... so being a commie is just a matter of degree now? Again the market and the board decides CEO salary, if you start drawing lines then where does it stop? So go along with Bernie's seize anything over $1 billion in wealth (which is a stupid idea already since most of that is in the form of business assets).

Still, unless you are a founder like Carnegie was and say Tim Cook was for able, is anyone really worth 226 million?

Yes but this guy has been cooperating with the government to push censorship.

I am quite certain the majority of people working at Google now are NOT American citizens.

I didn’t say a word about prohibiting it, just that I think it’s obscene.
There are no other lines in that post to read between.

Ok Bernie... that's none of your business in a free market, that's up to the company's board. The same Board that failed their primary responsibility of shareholder primacy? Shareholders have taken an 80% haircut and you’re out here defending this nonsense. Yeah, it’s “none of my business” because I’m not a shareholder, but you can bet many of their shareholders are livid. You seem to confuse my use of the word “criminal” with me actually supporting legislation to ban this sort of incompetence.

I am talking about the ‘line’ where its no longer ‘obscene’ to you, remember the Democrats/commies favorite line ‘obscene wealth’. When you start creating lines in the sand as to what is obscene wealth or not, then its only a matter of who decides to define that line in the future...

Then that is up to the shareholders to hold the board accountable. If the market supports a billion dollar CEO package then so be it... that is what the MARKET determines.
