Saw good bye to the fed rate cut!

The jobs are addition by subtraction. Lose one 80K job, gain 3 30K part time jobs.

Average work week now 34.4 hours verses 34.5 last report.

We will not see a rate cut until unemployment goes back up over 3.8% or more.
Anyone who can walk and chew gum can get a job paying $17/hour or more.

“Wage gains also came in slightly stronger than expected. Hourly earnings rose 0.5 percent in April and are up 4.4 percent over the last 12 months”

But inflation was still 5% in March so real wage gains are still negative.
