Well wow I can’t say I’ve seen anything like this before. For those who follow this beyond the western sound bites you already know this civilian head of Wagner is a mercurial firebrand and often for a non military man he lingers near the battle more than is probably prudent. The video is bizarre there is no question of that. It’s graphic btw. The tension between private contractors Wagner and Russian military is high im guessing lol and that’s an understatement Most here don’t realize the bulk of the Russian fighting has been Wagner and separatist militias I’m truly stunned to be honest this is way beyond MacArthur

And it’s directed more at Russian army not the political leadership I’m guessing Prigozhian will be “encouraged” to go home and rest and new leadership of Wagner will be installed Since he’s not attacking Putin I don’t see a polonium sammich in his future

But I could be wrong

Russia seems to have an abundance of loud talkers ..Lavrov comes to mind

It’s hard to gauge the consequence of this but I’m guessing this might provoke Wagner to be withdrawn and replaced with some of the massive Russian regular military held in reserve here and there

It won’t slow Russian progress much big picture wise

Bakhmut has been a grind and just awful bloody on a scale we’ve not endured since WWII or maybe Korea

Again I warn the links to the actual video are probably not cat lady material

This isn’t Pergozhian first outburst but I think this one will result in his exit regardless how valid his complaints are and btw I think they are

I think Russian military exploits his men as expendable and doesn’t risk supporting them as much as they need

One note: globalists here often compare Putin to Stalin, imagine if Prigozhian did this to Stalin, he’d be disappearing from group photos by the Moscow canal in hours (Yes I realize there are already threads on this topic but not from The Duran)

Russia uses numbers to win, that has never changed. Grozny took several attempts to finally be recaptured throughout the years.

Perhaps Prigozhian spends so much time at the front because the front is safer for him than Moscow. The risks from the Ukrainians might be more predictable than from his Russian enemies.

Most don’t realize- exactly. Muddied. The western MSM categorizes losses as “ Russian”, they don’t mention the vast majority is Wagner ( used in most all offensives), Donetsk and Lughansk militia whom were formed back in 2015 when they declared their Independence from Ukraine.

What this means- Russian Army losses a fraction of what is reported by western MSM, the Russian Army proper has not been “ grinded down” as hoped. Vlad appears to know the Casualties amongst militia and Wagner goes largely unnoticed by the Russian public. IF/ when Russian Army casualties go anywhere near Ukie losses, then public opposition skyrockets…. Not the current situation.

That said, Vlad has handled his SMO masterfully, prisoners volunteers, and Ukie Independence seekers are bearing the brunt. Escalation by the West will undoubtedly force Vlad into committing Russian Army forces- time will tell.

Didn’t Wagner just say they were throwing in the towel? If so maybe the actual Russia forces will start getting into the grinder and hopefully be huge losses then.

Prigozhin will remain - he owns the PMC along with his silent partners. Replacing the owner would destroy the PMC, and its activities in Africa is too valuable to Russia. Utkin may have a say as well. Prigozhin and Utkin are the principles.

Also in the mix is the FSB which wants both the PMC and the RGF out of the way so they can assume power and crawl back into bed with Putin.

There will be polonium sammichs handed out by the FSB once they see how the UA Offensive goes. There might be one with Putin’s name on it. That’s how dangerous this situation has become for Pootie Boy.

——-
No they didn’t. They are huge, present in Syria and Africa-way to much money being made by them, muck like our contractors that were in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The only question is how long will Vlad employ Wagner? I suspect their “ usefulness” will be ditched if/ when Vlad “ wins” the war….the Russian Army will then be fully credited with the win….not a bunch of prisoners or Independence seekers.

It would be a subordination in most situations

No doubt

He just announced Wagner is withdrawing asking for positions to be filled by Russian regulars

You have to ask why this is occurring?

The Wagner Group has suffered horrible deaths on the battlefield and not delivered the hoped for win in Eastern Ukraine. So what does the leader hope to accomplish?

Perhaps to divert the blame all across the country on the prisoner deaths from volunteers fighting in Ukraine, away from Wagner Group to the Russian Army for not properly supplying Wagner Group?

Perhaps leave the battlefield before the Ukrainian military spring offensive and the resulting loss of Russian life and holding of Ukrainian territory? Perfect way to say, “We didn’t loose the war.”

I think that this is a well thought out political positioning so Wagner Group will have far more power than the Russian Army after Ukraine starts its spring offensive.

“Escalation by the West will undoubtedly force Vlad into committing Russian Army forces- time will tell.”

I doubt Russia has enough forces capable to commit to anything.

Remember the massive Russian winter offensive? You predicted this major push by January 20th along with many others.

Never happened. Why not? My guess is they were not capable.

I saw his video, once in Russian and once in translation. He was really, REALLY angry. His recruiting at prisons was blocked because the Army decided he was poaching their potential fishing ground, and probably because “free” Russians were being really hard to catch swimming out of Russia, or to beds not in their recorded home.

Other reports on these events have him saying he will turn over positions to regular Army when he leaves. He might go home to Russia, or by the 10th Putin may want him elsewhere such as Syria. Also, he might be wanted somewhere in Africa. Sudan or Chad perhaps? Hired by one side in Sudan, or by Chad to protect against warfare overflow?

I also wonder how Chechen troops and leadership are feeling about this time. Chechen’s dictator did not look happy at his recent face to face with Putin.

Another factor shadowing this conflict is Putin’s future reaction to his feeling he was attacked by Ukraine or US at the Kremlin. It was public info that he was NOT going to be there that. The drones were small as was the explosion, and probably not of a type to travel 500 miles. One FReeper suggested several M80 fire crackers; and the two men on the domes catwalk were not injured nor was the dome (possibly a little charred). Will Putin use this as an excuse to put his 5/9 celebration indoors, and avoid any risk of major demonstrations? Will he use the blame of Ukraine and US as an excuse to hit Bakhmut with a tactical nuke? One source suggests this event was connected with an argument over which flag to fly for 5/9. Also some rich Russian said he would pay a prize to anyone who could do something bold (land a drone in Red Square on 5/9?, I don’t remember exactly what) which could be stirring up trouble. Progozhians choice of 5/10 is interesting.

I never thought I would see the day when Americans,
especially American conservatives,
would worry about a illegal Russian mercenary army,
fighting as a proxy army for the Russian government,
in place of the Russian army,
for the possibility of being denied victory,
while invading a sovereign nation,
on behalf of the Russian government, army and FSB.

Nobody told me there'd be days like these.
Strange days indeed
Most peculiar, mama...

“globalists” don’t compare Putin to Stalin — Putin himself tries to emulate his hero.

As a child he was appalled by Khrushchev’s tossing out of Stalin’s cult of personality. He salvaged a Stalin portrait, so enamored was he, Putin.

He has also over the past 23 years of dictatorship constantly voiced appreciation of Stalin.
