Because they were all hoping some RINO or DeSantis (I am not anti-DeSantis) would take the reins after Trump was indicted but this is not happening. Also, they know all of the state cases are all BS and is only making Trump stronger.

Next game that will be tried is trying to keep Trump off of the ballot in certain states due to some sort of BS. Then they will starting talking about faithless electors again.
