His mostly blurred-out photo was posted in some papers - after he’d been killed.
People on social media were saying he had a drug cartel tattoo on his hand that was visible. He didn’t look White in the photos even though they were partially blurred out.

Hispanic. Investigators had to speak to his parents through a translator. He lived in northeast Dallas. Not a very nice part of town.
