Worse, I suspect. Some dishes need a continuous high pressure application to get the job done. You may as well try washing your car with water dribbling out the hose.

Like modern toilets. Flush before sitting to prevent skid marks on the porcelain. Flush again during use for courtesy. Flush again before depositing the tissue. One last flush to clear everything down the drain.
