My first thought as well. Brandon is forcing us to return to ‘the good old days’. Dishes will be washed and dried by hand. Clothes will be dried outside on lines. City dwellers’ clothes lines will stretch from tenement to tenement. Only the well-to-do will have a car—everyone else will walk or take a bus or trolley to work or get to work. Think of life in 1900, if we’re lucky.
