What college kid on a survey is not going to answer “I need more food”
Are they including grad students who teach classes as faculty here? Then the problem is that they are either unpaid or get an education plus a small stipend for their work. If they are only counting full instructors or professors, then I call BS.
Any issues with tattoo insecurity?

New Mexico 30 - 33% Obese... not just overweight but obese. But New Mexico is not as bad as sum. Why was the US high in COVID? Because Obesity is a co-morbidity for COVID, just as it is for some other diseases.
The problem in the US is not that we don’t get enough food. The problem is we choose to eat the wrong things (me includied with a Mtn Dew beside my laptop).
Faculty hungry?
Lay off 90% of administration staff, any non-academic dean, hire instructors as full time workers, not adjunct gig workers.
We have a major surplus of food - if you go hungry in the US it is your own fault.
I had a box of spinach omve or my go to meal. rice n chunky soup for 2 days.

I’m very very dubious about this number.
Don’t just add a (where appropriate) work requirement to SNAP add an appropriate ‘BMI or some such’ over/under- nourished requirement. Hire Moochelle’s school lunch defining team to set (and defend) the rules. Too fat by their rules and SNAP turns into SNA-FU for what it provides. Don’t like those limits? Spend your own $ on what’s not covered. Get your $ legally or learn that all prison food is SNA-FU. Don’t know how to get $ legally? Ask a taxPAYER instead of a taxSPENDER! Thus taxing back all that old taxPAYER provided RICH FOOD off the latter, who had been banking it OVER their beds. [Those of us who managed to get fat on our own post-tax $ are just, possibly misguided, preppers, fearing the uniparty’s next physical bank crash and famine more than the risk of heart disease, etc.]
