DeSantis campaign teases Wednesday campaign announcement, sends 'secret invitations': report

The dress code was allegedly described as "dressy casual resort wear."

A new report has revealed that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) will officially begin his presidential campaign in Miami this Wednesday.

Invitations for the event, which reportedly will take place Wednesday at 4 pm, according to The Messenger, have been kept quiet, with the dress code described as "dressy casual resort wear." It has been said that the paperwork for DeSantis' campaign will already have been submitted once "the festivities" commence at 5 pm.

One individual allegedly noted that his invitation to the event was verbal but was reluctant to say more as operatives in the DeSantis campaign have apparently been "leak-testing" by purposefully sharing phony dates and information to see if it gets leaked, likely in an effort to see test the trustworthiness of those around them.

Recently, it seems that DeSantis has been further gearing up to officially begin a presidential run. Earlier this month, moving trucks were seen beside the Florida GOP building on Monday, only for a Republican official to later confirm that the vehicles were being used to switch DeSantis’ political operation to a new location.

DeSantis is the only other Republican candidate who has polled consistently in the double digits, but still falls short of the support that Trump has garnered.

A TV ad from Trump’s campaign posted last month went after the Florida governor, seemingly suggesting he should not be making a White House run in the first place.

The video features a part of DeSantis’ victory speech in November 2018, showing him saying, "I’d like to thank our president for standing by me when it wasn’t necessarily the smart thing to do."

"You’re welcome, Ron," the narrator states in response. "Unfortunately, instead of being grateful, DeSantis is now attacking the very man who saved his career. Isn’t it time DeSantis remembers how he got to where he is?"

Meanwhile, some reports say that DeSantis is courting various conservative donors for support, casting himself as a person who can continue the Trump agenda while also forgoing any type of drama or theatrics. The Florida governor and his senior campaign staff anticipate that around 30 percent of Republican voters will stay behind Trump no matter what he says or does, bringing the campaign concerns if the primary is crowded, according to Bloomberg.

There are many debates surrounding which potential GOP nominee would be better poised to take on the Democrats in the 2024 presidential election. Some people wonder if DeSantis will capture the Trump base, including political commentator Rich Baris, who opined that if American voters who largely supported former President Trump "don’t show up, DeSantis would need an epic collapse of Democrat turnout to win."

Remember when DeSantis had historical momentum, poll numbers destroying Trump & an organic grassroots team of memers & well loved online influencers? 🤣

Another loser for the political meat grinder. Doubt there’ll be anything left of him to go back to Florida.

Would Ronald Herbert Walker DeSantis be governor of Florida right now without Trump’s endorsement days before the election when his numbers were in the basement?

Ronald Herbert Walker DeSantis is an ungrateful, Uniparty opportunist who will stab us in the back the first time it is convenient.

We do not live in ordinary times. The US constitutional republic is under existential threat. Ronald Herbert Walker DeSantis is just another politician out for himself.

Trump is a patriot. He didn’t have to do this. He did it because he loves the USA and its people.

I like DeSantis but I think he missed his moment, and is now getting the stink of the GOP all over him as he tries to catch up. When Trump was indicted, or after the feds raided Trumps home DeSantis had the opportunity to say the persecutios was evil and as president he would stop it. Instead he followed the GOPer slime, poll tested his remarks, and came off as part of the uniparty.

Also the will he / won’t he announcement game is tiresome.

Guess it will be Wednesday when the Sunshine State has a part-time governor with full time pay and benefits and a full time candidate for POTUS.

Those benefits are little a murky.

At least the travel benefits, as their visibility has been legislatively declared verboten.

RE: DeSantis is Fool’s Gold on a Fool’s Errand.

Who can say? What if Jeb Bush races up to the front to win a photo finish against Trump and DeSantis who cancel each other out as a draw at the convention? He has that charisma and that mojo.

Felt like a ghoul
