Russian minister, 46, 'who privately condemned Putin's "fascist" invasion of Ukraine' becomes latest figure to mysteriously die: Official married to Eurovision singer fell ill during flight from Cuba to Moscow

Russia's deputy science minister, allegedly a private critic of the 'fascist' invasion of Ukraine, has died suddenly after falling seriously ill on a flight to Moscow on Saturday.

Pyotr Kucherenko, 46, was returning from a business trip to Cuba when his plane was forced to make an emergency landing in southern Russia, the Science and Higher Education Ministry said yesterday.

Doctors performed CPR but were unable to save the official. His family said the death was linked to an underlying heart condition, but the body is expected to undergo an autopsy on May 24.

Independent journalist Roman Super wrote after the announcement that his 'old friend' had spoken in private about his inability to escape Russia following what he called the 'fascist invasion' of Ukraine.

Mr Kucherenko is survived by his wife, Georgian Eurovision talent Diana Gurtskaya, and their 15-year-old son.

His death is the latest among high-profile Russians since the invasion of Ukraine. Last month, energy boss Igor Shkurko was found dead in his prison cell after he was accused of taking a bribe.

Roman Super said on Telegram that he had spoken to Mr Kucherenko a few days before he had left Russia for security reasons in the wake of the invasion last year.

It was not clear exactly when the two were supposed to have spoken.

The pair reportedly spoke about plans to leave Russia and their frustrations over the invasion of Ukraine.

Super claimed the minister had told him to leave and save his family. He said 'in a year you won't recognise Russia at all. You leave and do the right thing'.

Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Pyotr Kucherenko died while returning with a Russian delegation from a business trip to Cuba

Asked if he planned to leave himself, Kucherenko was reported to have said: 'It is no longer possible to do so. They take away our passports. And there is not a world in which the Deputy Russian Minister will be happy after this fascist invasion.'

“In Before someone aks if he was vaccinated for Covid”

He certainly looks vaccinated, or perhaps he has a secret life that isn’t all that welcome in Russia (and used to not be welcomed in West, particularly when it involves little boys).

simplest explanation is most likely -

he was whacked by Putin only because he dared to criticize the unnecessary war

I suppose it’s difficult to get any windows to open while in flight, requiring more creative solutions to be applied before landing. Nothing beats a tall glass of black tea during a long commute. Shaken, not stirred.

Yep, could be. Almost as bad as how the Democrats (Ukraine War types) treat our Jan 6th protesters.

The Kremlin is a blood-thirsty mass-deaths producing machine.

It kills everything that tries to resist the horrendous Russian totalitarian Orwellian deep-state.
It makes Americas deep-state look like an amusement park for kids in comparison.

Putin is now at the head of a dark anti-conservative soviet-like cult. He is killing his own people on the killing fields of Ukraine, and on the killing fields of Russia, including Russians abroad.

Russian citizens are now trapped in their own nightmare.

Russia has lost all momentum. We now finally see their economy going downhill, they have consumed their last trump-cards. Only darkness awaits Russia, including the looming civil war that has now slowly begun.
