The polls show the hill DeSantis has to climb.
Right now, RealClearPolitics polling averages show Trump with a massive 37% lead over DeSantis, sitting at 56.3% support of GOP voters. DeSantis has dropped to 19.4%, Pence at 5.6%, Nikki Haley at 4.3%, Vivek Ramaswamy at 3.6% and Sen. Tim Scott at 1.8. (The poll period was from 4/21 to 5/18, before Scott’s announcement.)
Which gets to our major point:
DeSantis’s opponent at this point isn’t even Trump. He’s got to win the Not-Trump nomination first.

I don’t think DeSantis has any illusions that he’ll win and be the nominee, I bet to get his name and asperations out there for 2028 he is going through all the motions.
He’ll be the front runner then and carry on Trump’s legacy. It’s Occam’s razor time now.

President Trump had to operate quickly on what information he had on hand (Lies from Fraudci, CDC, WHO, and big pharma.)
His one big failing is that he thought they were honest brokers of what was best for the American people.
He is not likely to make that mistake again.
DeSantis might be a one-hit wonder with his COVID response.
It is best to sit back and let the primary system do its thing.

Yup. Not sure he fully thought through ALL his opponents. As the article points out, some of them are pretty shrewd politicians, and rhetorically competent. (RdS is NOT rhetorically competent!) And in at least the first rounds, it’ll be RdS against all the rest MINUS President Trump.

Did you not get to make your own choice?
I know businesses pressured employees and some family felt compelled to get it due to elders or sick family member, some fam ily allowed or made their kids get it for staying in specific schools, but I don’t see where people got it by actual force, only by there choice or desire to keep job, a school, or out of concern for a loved one, or did I miss a part where it’s trump’s fault you took a shot?

In my opinion, he already has. Depends on who you consider “globalist”.
They also manipulated him through his mysophobia (germaphobia)**. Used his fear of germs\viruses to cloud his judgement.
