No one cares what the voters want. Voters play no part in our system of government.

Quote: “ No one cares what the voters want. Voters play no part in our system of government.”

They certainly play no part in voting anymore.

Right, voters are non existent. As soon as the steal went into effect and they pulled of the big steal with the presidential election that the republicans refused to stand and fight it was over

Sure… then, the minute they feel the effects of that shutdown, the GOP will get the blame for it.

And THAT will further separate the wheat from the chaff.

BINGO! Since they corrupted the VOTE, DC answers to no one but the donors and themselves.

It doesn't have to be that way.

If they would just address the fraud, mismanagement, duplication, nepotism, and waste in the government, then we'd be on the right path.

The only people who would ‘feel’ the pinch in that would be the crooks and overpaid do-nothing’s who are themselves totally unnecessary to 'government'

This is all the fault of the people who voted democrat to keep abortion legal, forgetting all other issues. Lindsey Graham helped the dems make the election about abortion by introducing an antiabortion bill that had zero chance of passing.

Shut down DOE (education), EPA, DOC (Commerce), DOE (Energy), DHS, USDHS, HUD, DOI (Interior), DOJ, DOL (Labor), DOS (State), DOT (Transportation), DOT (Treasury).

“Shut down” means GO HOME and STAY HOME until further notice.

Then cancel enough jobs to reduce the federal work force (non military) by half on the grounds that the American Taxpayer does not need your job.

If you have lived in DC, then you know tailoring to be true: Government Employees love the shutdowns...they all get back pay, so it is seen and treated as extra vacation. It crushes many of the contractors and their families since many have no avenue of making up on site work.

It is not what the elites want, so who cares what a poll says.

Government shutdowns affect Democrats the most, because 70%+ of our government’s employees are Democrats. When a Democrat is the president, they shut down things that anger the population like parks. When a Republican is the president, they shut down Departments that have large numbers of government employees(Democrats). Once Congress and the president get a spending bill passed, everybody gets paid and back paid.

That would be a good start. There are hundreds of other government entities to shutter. As for the defense budget it needs to be cut too. I heard yesterday one antidotal story about defense spending. A decade ago, a stinger missile cost $30k. They cost $400k today. The defense budget and our foreign policy is designed to enrich the military industrial complex. As for cuts in military head count, every single faggot, lesbo, trans freak and their woke supporters need to be dishonorably discharged.
